J&S, Zell's, Baton and Dice Recordings 1955-1970

A girl group/female singer compilation featuring the productions of Zell Sanders one of the first black female record label owners/producers in the business. Featuring the Jaynetts, the Hearts, Rita Zell, Ada Ray, the Endeavors and others, it includes the first ever recordings by Baby Washington with the Hearts R&B and soul sounds spanning the years 1955-70. Nearly all the selections are being released for the first time on a legitimate CD. Only one track has appeared on a previous Ace release.
