What does Latin music sound like on Caribbean steel drums? On this new release, the London All Stars Steel Band performs Latin classics such as Cumbanchero, Guantanamera, and others with their renowned energy and style. The London All Stars Steel Band is a multi-award winning steelband founded in London in 1974 by Trinidad-born musician Frank Rollock. Under Frank's direction the London All Stars have gained a solid reputation as one of Britain's best steelbands. They have won a multitude of awards and are proud to be known as regular Jouvert Champions, winning the annual steelpan competition 8 times since 2004. They also won the UK National Steelband Festival Championship as well as the Panorama Championships three times. As a result of their success, the band has been invited to share their music all over the world. The band's repertoire encompasses a colorful mix of calypso, classics, jazz, ballads, and other popular works.
