In 1996 two great New Zealand music institutions joined forces to produce a unique project. ENZSO was an album of classic Split Enz songs arranged by former Split Enz keyboardist and sound engineer Eddie Rayner. The music was performed by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, with members of the original band and special guests providing vocals.

The album went on to sell multi platinum across New Zealand & Australia, spawning highly successful national tours in both countries with around 250,000 fans attending the historic shows. The success of the original album was followed in 1998 by ENZSO 2

On April 1st 2016 the iconic New Zealand ENZSO project will celebrate 20 years. To mark this historic occasion ENZSO creator Eddie Rayner has compiled the finest musical moments from the two original ENZSO albums on a brand new 20th anniversary edition. The new package will also feature never before seen photos from the original national tour and recording sessions.
