...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead have some grim words to describe their ninth full-length album, 'IX': "This album is about loss and how we've all experienced it. We hope you can relate. If you can't relate then you aren't human and you deserve to die."

Formed in 1994 out of Texas by two childhood friends, the core members of the band have remained since its inception, expanding and growing as time demanded. Their imperative sound originally broke to the world with their 2002 hit single 'Another Morning Stoner' and have swept up an ever-brooding bundle of both mainstream and underground critical acclaim ever since.
