First solo album from half of the dissolved Kid Sam. Recorded in 2011 and 2012 with producer Myles Wootton (The Panics) after months of bedroom recordings. Features cello from Jessica Venables (Jessica Says) on opener ‘Out of Africa’ and trumpet from Dave Henry on ‘The Stage’, plus guests Luke Benge (Sikap Sempurna), Annabel Grigg (Oh Mercy) and Kelly Lane (Skipping Girl Vinegar).

A much wider and more expansive sound than that of Kid Sam’s much acclaimed 2009 release, illustrating Kieran’s versatility as a singer and songwriter … songs shift from the medieval setting of ‘Red Eyed Birds’, slowly drifting into the present on ‘Building A Snowman.’
