Several years after the final battle between the Voltron Force and Prince Lotor, a new evil threatens the galaxy, and the universe is once again in need of its true defender Voltron Defender of the Universe! It's time for new recruit Larmina to learn the art of diplomacy by organizing a victory concert, unaware that Lotor's spies have infiltrated the celebration. Pidges home planet of Balto has been taken over by Lotor, who is turning its inhabitants into mindless ninja-zombies. The team returns to Planet Ariel venturing deep into the mines, solving deadly traps and uncovering clues to the origins of Voltron.
