This soundtrack is a true declaration of love to Italy and Italian music - all tracks chosen by Woody Allen himself. Nine tracks (3-6, 9, 10, 15, 17, 18) were newly recorded for this film and are only available on this soundtrack.

Italy's renowned tenor Fabio Armiliato, who also stars in the film, sings two of Giacomo Puccini's most beautiful arias - "E lucevan le stelle” from “Tosca” and “Nessun dorma” from “Turandot” and also Umberto Giordano's "Amor ti vieta” from “Fedora”.

In addition, the soundtrack features music by Italian composers Giuseppe Verdi, Ruggero Leoncavallo, Alberto Pestalozza, and many more - but also a track by American composer Einar Aaron Swan.

Three different versions of Domenico Modugno's famous Italian classic "Volare (Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu)" are also included.
