NZ ON A PLATE: BEST OF More than just a cooking show, NZ On a Plate features top kiwi chefs as they take viewers on a culinary journey of New Zealand. Each episode focuses on a different region with a Chef cooking superb three course meals made up of local produce. New Zealand's geographic diversity and huge range of unusual produce makes for an exciting show mussel boats in the Marlborough Sounds, sheep milking farmers in Southland and olive groves on an island in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf are some of the highlights. The team gain a wonderful insight to the best that New Zealand has to offer on the culinary front and the food producers themselves are a diverse bunch wagyu beef farmers, cheese makers, and mussel and clam producers there is a long list but all share an absolute passion for producing the best products they possibly can. Each Chef has his/her own flair and personality. Wherever possible, cooking is done outside in a relaxed setting beaches, venison farm and gardens they all make a great backdrop reflecting the New Zealand lifestyle.
