Harbour Lights Series One and Series Two is set in the beautiful harbour town of Bridehaven (alias West Bay) where Nick Berry (Heartbeat) plays Harbour Master Mike Nicholls. Bridehaven is a close knit community where feuding families, ruthless business dealings and the sea dominate local lives. Following a tragic diving accident which claims the life of his close friend, Mike returns to Bridehaven where he grew up, to take on the job as Harbour Master. But the near romance with police officer Melanie Rush (Tina Hobley), the ruthless business dealings of Tony Simpson (Gerard Horan) and the feuding of the Blade family all take their toll.
