To many, Kompakt are best known for their pioneering approach to Electronic dancefloor music. However, beneath the brash Techno exteria lays a softer side - this is showcased in their 'Ambient' series. Pop Ambient 2007 has become the annually anticipated release from Kompakt, and has earned a remarkable following over it's seven installments - thanks to the soothing, melodic musical excursions from it's contributors. This release features new and exclusive contributions from the Field, Thomas Fehlmann (of the Orb), Triola (aka the Modernist), Klimek and a very rare and lost track (never released n CD) from Gas.2006.
