D-Block

No Security is a brand new studio album, no outtakes and no old songs: this is official new music straight from the mighty D-BLOCK. This new album features that trademark sound that LOX fans have come to know and love. Armed with the smash hit single “Get My Paper”, D-BLOCK is set to bring Yonkers back to the forefront of hip-hop music.

D-Block formerly known as The LOX, is an American rap group founded in the mid-1990s by Sheek Louch, Jadakiss and Styles P. In 2001, the group changed their name from "The L.O.X." to "D-Block".

The L.O.X gained national exposure in 1996 with an onside collaboration on the Life After Death album with the song "Last Day". Shortly after gaining even more exposure with their powerful multi-platinum tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. , "We'll Always love Big Poppa". The song which celebrated the life of the slain superstar, captured Biggie's essence and thrust The LOX into the media spotlight as a group to watch out for. The trio later appeared on a multitude of hits, including Puffy's “Its All About The Benjamins”, which the LOX wrote, Mase's "24 Hours to Live", and Mariah Carey's "Honey". The group's debut album Money, Power & Respect went platinum and helped establish the LOX as an important voice in Hip-Hop music.

After their second album, The LOX changed their official name to "D-Block" (though they still sometimes refer to themselves as The LOX). D-Block's members began to record their own separate solo albums, such as Jadakiss Kiss Tha Game Goodbye in 2001, Sheek Louch's Walk Witt Me in 2003 and Styles P A Gangster and a Gentleman in 2002.
