The first thing you notice about Swedish pop/rock band Oh Laura is that voice. Like the work of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks that inspired the name of the band, its alluring eeriness draws you in from the very start. Part evening sunshine, part filter-less cigarettes, it is serene and beautiful, yet dark, fragile and brooding. It does more than move you, it enchants you. The track “Release Me” is featured on the SAAB TV ad currently being broadcast.
