Colin Firth (Mamma Mia; Bridget Jones Diary; Love Actually; Pride and Prejudice) stars in this chilling adaptation of Henry James’ gripping horror story. A young governess (Jodhi May) is hired by a wealthy bachelor (Colin Firth) to look after his two young children in a grand mansion in rural England. The idyll is soon threatened however as the governess comes to believe that her two young charges are possessed by the spirits of two dead servants. Her battle to save their souls results in horror and ultimately tragedy.
