'Who's Gonna Save My Soul' mixes melancholy Motown balladry and parched Delta blues. 'Surprise' juxtaposes its introspective lyrics with sunny backing vocals and insistent spy jazz. 'A Little Better' closes the set with an uplifting expression of gratitude.
