Inspector Rex S5 DVD

The phenomenon that is Inspector Rex continues unabated in Australian lounge rooms and DVD retailers! Sales have been continually strong for the various seasons through the past 12 months, but in March 2006, SBS screened 4 episodes featuring Inspector Moser for the very first time. And the Hotline website went into meltdown! These episodes featured on Series 4's release, and they also marked the arrival of a new Detective Inspector in Alex Brandtner. (played by Gedeon Burkhard). Höllerer is replaced by Fritz Kunz.

Rex fans while dedicated to Moser accept Brandtner happily, because after all, they're not watching exclusively for the detective they're following the German Shepherd, and the dog remains the same!
