Three years ago, bluejuice was a live hip hop band whose mission was to rock constantly and without question. Their first EP, Zebraaazz, yielded a Triple J high rotation single in Here We Go (Now), helped them win MusicOz Artist of The Year 2003 and The Brag Hip-Hop Award 2004. Their sophomore release, The Good Luck Pig, is a focused attempted to sum up the band’s recent working parts, from the ridiculous aggression of tunes like The Madness and Bounce Back, to the jazz and funk foundations of songs like Strivin’ and first single, Unemployed.
