Reprise Records has announced the release on compact disc of four classic Neil Young albums: On The Beach (1974), American Stars & Bars (1977), Hawks & Doves (1980) and Re-Ac-Tor (1981). This marks the first time these landmark recordings have ever been released on CD. Until now, it was only these four studio albums that have not been released on CD, despite each being US Top 30 hits, and two of them being Gold-Certified. Finally these titles make their digitally-remastered CD debuts as one of music's most influential and enduring singer-songwriters continues to record and tour.

On The Beach (1974): This dark yet triumphant album, with guests Graham Nash, David Crosby, and The Band's Rick Danko and Levon Helm, charted at #16 and went Gold in the US.
