Yellowstone - Why You Need To Watch It!

It is no secret that we are spoilt with lots of tv shows to choose from in the present day.  But sometimes, a fantastic show can go under the radar, and Yellowstone should not be one of them.

The series follows the Dutton Family, owners of the well-known ranch called "Yellowstone".  John Dutton (Kevin Costner), the father of the family and owner of the farm, are supported in his every move by his children.  The series begins with introducing several elements. Firstly, we understand there is a dark past in the Dutton family, including a tragic loss. Each family member has a different set of skills and goals in life, but the surname is easily their biggest thing in common.

But John and his family discover that their ranch could be in trouble thanks to local developers and the Indian reservation.  All of them have interests in either building around Yellowstone, or worse, they have desires to do whatever it takes to move the Dutton family on and claim Yellowstone's land for themselves.

As a plot, Yellowstone is slow-moving drama series.  As it has many characters, the subplots continue to grow into something bigger and better as the series moves forward.  The visuals of Yellowstone are also outstanding. Nothing regarding the visuals can be faulted. Every shot is captured well, and it is simply pleasing to see.

Yellowstone is a stunning TV series. Visually it is flawless, and the audio track is just as outstanding.  While I am not a fan of Westerns personally, this is undoubtedly a solid drama with tremendous performances that quickly got me hooked. The story is a slow burn but the build-up towards the season-ending extremely rewarding.  After watching season one, I will be hanging around the Yellowstone ranch a lot more.
