April in Australia means the weather is finally cooling down, and the kids are officially out of school for the first term break of the year. If the phrase "I’m bored" is already echoing through your hallways, it’s time to head to Sanity. We’ve curated a comprehensive survival guide to help you navigate the school holidays, featuring the hottest sensory toys, nostalgic collectibles, and home entertainment the whole family can agree on.
The Nee Doh Craze: Why Everyone is Squishing If you haven’t felt the satisfying crunch of a Schylling stress ball yet, you’re missing out on the biggest trend of 2026. Originally designed as a fidget toy, the Nee Doh collection has become a viral sensation for kids and adults alike. Whether you're looking for the icy aesthetic of the Niceberg Nee Doh or the satisfying texture of the Snow Ball Crunch, these are the perfect portable "quiet time" toys for long car rides or rainy afternoons. For those who like variety, we recommend the Nice Ice Baby Teenie Multi-Pack or surprise singles like the Dream Drop and Jelly Squish. They are affordable, durable, and keep little hands busy. Explore more in our Nee Doh & Schylling Specials.
From the Big Screen to Your Living Room When outdoor activities get rained out, there’s no better fallback than an epic movie marathon. April is the perfect time to catch up on New Release Movies or dive into our Hottest Movie Pre-Orders. If you have a house full of teens, the Stranger Things Seasons 1-5 Complete Collection is a holiday essential. This limited-edition box set is the ultimate way to relive Hawkins in stunning UHD. For the younger kids, browse our Movies on DVD for family favorites.
Retro Vibes, Novelty Gifts & Soundtracks April is about self-expression, and we’ve seen a spike in fans looking for Novelty Gifts and Funko Pop Vinyls. Whether they are hunting for rare BTS Merch or building with Mega Bloks, these make for great holiday rewards. While the kids are busy with their Nee Doh Peace O Cake, treat yourself to Vinyl Record Specials. From New Release Music to the BTS Official Light Stick, we have the soundtrack to your holidays covered.
