Shannon Noll has created an album for his fans that celebrates the 18 year journey he’s been on with them while still steering towards a bright future. ‘Raw’ is a collection of his biggest greatest hits to date, as well as a few unreleased new tracks and covers that are captured in a whole new and “raw” light.
Re-Envisioning ‘Lift’, ‘Shine’, ‘Now I Run’, ‘Drive’, ‘What About Me’ and ‘Long Live The Summer’ , these anthemic tracks have got a whole new life injected into them with an acoustic inspired sonic. Heavily inspired by his guitar driven and slight country inspired evolving sound, it definitely sits more in country territory.
New songs ‘Better’ and ‘Alone’ are emotively charged and packed with smooth harmonies and reflective lyrics. They fit perfectly in-between the hits in their own right, and will unsurprisingly become fan favourites. This whole album is a gift back to them and is a snapshot of the success he’s had with them over the years which makes it a wholesome listen.
