Looking for a great gift for Mum? Why not spoil her with some great movies so she can have a great night in!
With Mothers Day around the corner, Walkden Entertainment takes a look at some of the great titles you can share with Mum on her special day.
Bad Mums (2016):
Bad Mum's is a fun comedy that tells the story of three women who are all overworked and worn out. They come together and decide to ditch all their responsibilities and enjoy a long, rewarding moment of freedom. The film reminds the world that mums are awesome while sharing some quality comedy along the way. Starring comedy legends Mila Kunis, Kathryn Han, Kristen Bell and Christina Applegate, there are plenty of laughs.

Mother's Day (2016):
In 2016, Bad Moms wasn't the only film to come out as a comedy about mothers. Mother's Day, as you would assume by the title, follows a group of different moms at different ages and stages in life. We follow all the leading characters coming up that one special day of the year. The cast is outstanding, consisting of Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis. Mother's Day is a heartfelt comedy that families will never forget.

Little Women (2020):
Based on the well-known novel Little Women focuses on four sisters who share many challenges and hard times. While the film tells many stories about all of its characters, the lead in this film is one of the sisters named Jo March (Saoirse Ronan). Jo is a writer who one day hopes to write her novel. Her biggest challenge is dealing with the people who tell her that her writing isn't good enough or when others suggest alterations and changes she isn't keen about. She also writes to earn money for her family and provides stories to a local newspaper. Joining Jo on this journey are her three sisters, Meg (Emma Watson), Beth (Eliza Scanlen) & Amy (Florence Pugh). Little Women is loaded with outstanding cast members for both the leading and support roles. Lead performances are applause-worthy, and supporting cast members such as Meryl Streep and Timothee Chalamet are excellent.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2008):
After the smash hit film Mamma Mia (2008), the sequel Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! has a whole new soundtrack, adventure, comedy, and promises a great time once again. The film set is set five years after Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) met her three fathers. In the present day, Sophie plans to open her mother's hotel, and while doing so, the film takes its audiences back to 1979. We get to see a young Donna Sheridan and when she met each of the men who could be Sophie's biological father.

Freaky Friday (2003):
In 2003, Disney reintroduced a classic story to a new audience. Freaky Friday follows a mother and daughter. The mother (played by Jamie Lee Curtis) and her daughter (Lindsay Lohan) struggle to get along with each other in the home. But when something magic happens, the two switch bodies and have no choice but adapt to the other's daily routine, allowing them to gain a true understanding of what it takes to be a mother and daughter. The film a simply a great time and one of my favourite Disney films. The performance from Jamie Lee Curtis, as you would expect, is truly brilliant!
