Lorde, Gang Of Youths & Ed Sheeran Ready to Return to Music

2021 is really proving itself to be a HUGE year for music. With artists forced to not tour last year, everyone has been busy writing, experimenting and creating, and now they’re ready to share what they’ve been working on. And finding themselves in that position are three artists we’ve been DYING to hear new music from.

Lorde 

The Lorde herself has confirmed her return to music with her highly anticipated third studio album ‘Solar Power’ slated for US Summer release (our winter!!). The most exciting part of that is that we are in that season now… which means… yes, it’s coming SO SOON! Kicking off this new era, the New Zealand singer-songwriter has dropped the title track that hears her delivering a laid back pop sound that could soundtrack a nice afternoon at the beach.

Gang Of Youths

Australian indie-rock royalty Gang Of Youths are making their return on Wednesday June 16 with ‘the angel of 8th ave’ 

You may see some billboards and posters pop up around your city encouraging you to call a phone number, and to be honest you should… When you call you will be met with a snippet of the song and it’s sounding VERY good.

Ed Sheeran 

Australia’s favourite English ginger pop-star is returning after a nearly 4 year hiatus between solo releases. ‘Bad Habits’ will be released on June 25, and he’s promising a very different and fresh sound to welcome listeners into this new era. Confessing that he’s using a band for the first ever time in his live shows, this new sound is going to really celebrate that shift. With a vampire aesthetic on the single-artwork, I think that preludes quite strongly to how playful this new chapter in Ed Sheeran’s career will be. We’re excited!
