It’s officially shark season because Amy Shark has just dropped her highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Cry Forever’! This 13 track collection hears the Gold Coast based singer-songwriter finding her voice as an artist in the current moment. Evolving her artistry from her vulnerable debut album ‘Love Monster’, she moves away from the past and turns her introspective thoughts towards right now by articulating her inner monologue.
From the opening moments of ‘The Wolves’ right through to the raw closing track ‘Amy Shark’, she’ll have you in a deep dive of emotions through love, heartbreak, fame, mental health, and the general ups an downs of life. These songs are a lot more personal to Amy because they are based on current experiences and thoughts. Her songwriting has always been one of the most magical parts of her musical journey, and this album highlights that even more explicitly
Starting on the acoustic guitar she’s built these songs up into anthemic arrangements that are ready to be brought to life in her upcoming arena tour.
