Posed

Kit Records offers up a vital reissue of producer and composer Chris Sharkey’s album for mangled solo guitar, ‘Posed’. A veteran of the UK experimental scene with bands such as trioVD, Roller Trio, Acoustic Ladyland and Silver Birch, Chris has spent the last 10 years focusing mainly on studio and production work, working with up-and-coming UK artists such as PlantFood and Yoshizawa, alongside more established names such as Pat Thomas, Charles Hayward and Keeley Forsyth. In 2019 Chris released ‘Presets’, a double album of extended pieces for solo electric guitar. ‘Posed’ further develops Sharkey’s unique approach to the instrument.
