This updated edition of Problem-Oriented Policing: Successful Case Studies brings together detailed accounts of police and partner agencies solving recurring crime, safety, and harm problems. Drawn from among the thousands of existing case studies submitted for the Herman Goldstein Award for Excellence in Problem-Oriented Policing, UK Tilley Awards and New Zealand Evidence-Based Problem Solving Awards, and building on the original edition’s collection, this edition adds six new case studies, updates nine earlier chapters to explain what has changed over time, and concludes with a chapter reflecting on the worldwide adoption of problem-oriented policing by leading proponents.

The cases span more than four decades of police problem solving from across the world.
