Drawing on verified real-world examples and emerging research, each chapter illuminates the complex dynamics between humans and AI systems. Readers will discover practical early warning signs and evidence-based mitigation strategies, providing powerful tools for self-reflection and risk assessment in our rapidly evolving digital landscape. The book also examines AI's internal processes, exploring how machine programming can amplify human psychological risks and speculating on future trends that will shape human-AI interaction. Written in accessible, non-technical language, this essential guide serves students, educationalists, researchers, psychologists, Chief AI Officers and AI users seeking to navigate the psychological complexities of our AI-driven world while fostering responsible technology development and building genuine trust in artificial intelligence applications.
