Lenore Slipcase Set (Swirlies, Purple Nurples, Pink Bellies) Vol.2

Genius is a word bandied about a lot, but Roman Dirge stands alone as one of the funniest and most unique talents in the comic book firmament, producing a truly one-of-a-kind brand of comic book character and spawning a genre all its own, Cute little dead girls. Welcome to the world of Lenore, The Cute Little Dead Girl. This slipcase collection features three volumes each containing four complete issues of The Lenore comic book series. Featuring not only the rarely seen final issue of the Slave Labour Graphics Lenore comic but also the first 11 issues of the Titan Comics era editions. Stories include: “The Birfday Party”, “The Macabre Malevolence of Mortimer Flege”, “Where Pooty At?”, “Somethings are Best Unseen”, “Downfall parts 1-3”, “Beware the Creepig Creeping”, “Wrath of the Creeping” and “King for a Day”. Each volume features exclusive bonus material including short stories and bizarre back-up strips, the very first drawing of Lenore Roman ever drew, as well as guest artwork, a ‘make your own’ Lenore puppet tutorial, and a rare appearance of the cult British comic book character Psycho Gran in a Lenore team-up. Get ready for another triple dose of maniacal fiendish fun, gruesome games, and gloriously macabre and horrible hi-jinx as Lenore battles diabolical ancient Egyptian demons hellbent on dragging Taxidermy back in time, hordes of forest Ogres who might be ICE agents, an exceedingly startled brown bear, and irate worm just minding his own goddam business trying to have a bath. Also includes three exclusive art cards.
