The Ultimate Teammate

Some people learn leadership in a boardroom. Lacee' Carmon-Johnson learned it the hard way.

Widowed at 31 with a toddler and a career in full motion, Carmon-Johnson discovered that the principles she had spent years teaching athletes, resilience, accountability, showing up for your team, were the exact blueprint she needed to rebuild her own life. Part memoir, part leadership guide, The Ultimate Teammate pairs raw, honest storytelling with practical takeaways that meet you wherever you are. Each chapter asks the same question in a different way: What does it look like to be the ultimate teammate in your own life? Because the skills that win championships are the same ones that carry you through loss, rebuild your confidence, and help you show up fully for the people who need you most. You already have what it takes. This book will show you how to use it.
