Northshine

A heart-wrenching dual narrative novel about love and sisterhood, in a stunning series following four sisters and the long-held mysteries of their family – for fans of Kate Morton, Delia Owens and Lucinda Riley.

In the depths of Norway, fifteen-year-old Tana Harkness vanishes. Did she come to harm in the arctic wilderness, lured by the shimmer of the northern lights? Or was she claimed by the curse her mother believes has haunted their family for generations?

Years later, Tana’s sister Mira takes their sick mother to their idyllic Nantucket beach house. There, Mira cannot shake the memories, and when new love blossoms with a man she’s tried to forget, she finds herself torn between past and present.

Centuries earlier, Mira’s ancestor Brigid Hayes settles in Nantucket with her new husband after escaping the rising danger of the Salem witch trials – but trouble may have followed them to the island. What links Brigid’s fate to the Harkness sisters, and why does Mira’s mother feel connected to her?

Will Mira be able to connect the two mysteries before the northshine curse claims another Harkness woman?
