Friends Of Winnie-The-Pooh

This special bind-up edition of When We Were Very Young and Now We Are Six gathers all the poetry for children written by A. A. Milne, creator of Winnie-the-Pooh, in one volume—featuring a flocked cover that’s soft to the touch.

Wherever I am, there’s always Pooh,
There’s always Pooh and me.
“It isn’t much fun for one, but two
Can stick together,” says Pooh.

A. A. Milne wrote many poems for his only child, Christopher Robin, throughout his childhood. Each whimsical verse brings to life playful adventures, quiet afternoons in nature, the joys and pains of growing up, and more. When We Were Very Young was published before the Winnie-the-Pooh novels and shows Milne’s talent for creating peculiar yet lovable characters. Mr. Edward Bear, a rotund teddy bear who’s proud of his stature and served as the precursor for the well-known Bear of Little Brain, makes his debut in this book. Now We Are Six features appearances from Winnie-the-Pooh and other familiar friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.

Complete with the original black and white interior illustrations by Ernest Shepard, this beautiful edition is full of whimsy, humor, and imagination!
