Camper Van Beethoven: Deluxe Edition

The third album by Camper Van Beethoven. The marketing sticker says it's not produced by anyone famous, but many of the songs would later be called 'Popular Songs of Great Enduring Strength and Beauty'. The self titled album presents a developed, rounded and mature approach to songwriting that Camper Van Beethoven developed in their later months. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: good guys, bad guys, weed, Jerry Garcia, Joe Stalin, and of course, both peace AND love. The cover of Pink Floyd's 'Interstellar Overdrive' offers a particularly touching moment. The 40th Anniversary Edition is pressed to yellow & orange marble vinyl with the original artwork printed on a reverse board sleeve. Stay away from lakes.
