Borley Rectory: The True Story Of The Most Haunted House In England

In the 1930s, Borley Rectory was declared 'The Most Haunted House in England'. First investigated in 1929 by Harry Price, Britain's most famous ghost hunter of the day, over the past nearly one hundred years, so much material has come to light that it is now possible to tell the stories of key witnesses to the phenomena in their own words, in one book, like never before. Neil R. Storey draws on original accounts of those who actually lived at the rectory or came there to investigate the haunting. The stories are reproduced as they were written and without judgement, leaving the reader to consider the accounts presented and form their own conclusions about whether Borley Rectory really was 'The Most Haunted House in England'. AUTHOR: Neil R. Storey is an award-winning historian and author of over fifty books. A graduate of the University of East Anglia, he is an internationally renowned authority on ghosts and has investigated paranormal phenomena across Britain for over 30 years. Known for his ground-breaking research, Neil has a remarkable library and archive of original photographs, documents and manuscripts. Neil lectures for academic and social audiences and regularly appears as a guest historian on documentaries and television programmes, including Help! My House is Haunted. 20 b/w illustrations
