Obscura

On the island of Obscura, magical beings, live in secret, hidden in plain sight beneath a hedonistic tourist paradise. Artemis is a teenage centaur raised to fear humans. But when she breaks sacred law to save a dying boy, she sets in motion a chain of events that threatens to expose her world. As she uncovers a buried history of survival, secrecy and self-erasure - and a prophecy bound to her own life - Artemis begins collecting the stories her people have fought to forget. Because stories are power. And some truths were never meant to be told.
