Dragon Viking Vol. 1

Norse Sagas meet Saturday morning cartoons in this brilliantly accessible, funny fantasy adventure series about a boy on a quest to become the legendary Dragon Viking. Perfect for fans of How to Train Your Dragon and Pokemon aged 9-12.

Sigurd dreams of slaying dragons. They destroyed his home, killed his father and forced him into a life of servitude. And one day, he will have his revenge!

But for now, he's stuck doing chores for the whole town - including his hapless friend, Stein Steinsson. Until a giant golden pig goes on a rampage and Sigurd ... gets his butt kicked. But his heroics catch the eye of Fafnir, a small dragon on a big quest: to become the King of Dragons. Fafnir agrees to help Sigurd, if Sigurd helps him recover the eight magical runestones that unlock unique and powerful transformations. And what's that, glinting in the trotter of Gulli the oversized golden pig ...?

As the series continues, Sigurd, Fafnir, Gulli and Stein will have to team up to battle seven fearsome chieftains inspired by Viking legend, win the remaining runestones, unleash Fafnir's powers and allow Sigurd to become the fabled Dragon Viking.
