Why Keep Our Love A Secret?

From the award-winning author of Open Secret…

She lost the love of her life… and buried the truth with it.
Seven years later, the past refuses to stay hidden.

The loss of Beatriz has left Kisairi emotionally isolated, surrounded by walls that neither family nor friends have been able to break through.

When Kisairi returns home on leave, she expects her days to remain as dull and empty as they have been for the past seven years. The only thing she looks forward to is revisiting the place that once brought so much joy to the woman she loved. But when she unexpectedly collides with a stranger and finds herself staring into a pair of familiar golden-brown eyes, her heart begins to stir again—along with memories of that terrible event.

Torn between the past and the possibility of the present, Kisairi isn't sure she can risk giving herself fully to love once more. Yet the woman with the golden-brown eyes is determined, slowly breaking through the walls Kisairi thought would stand forever.

Will Kisairi dare to give love a second chance?
