Fashionably Late

A teen vampire in New York City discovers her true lineage in this adventure from a Bram Stoker Award–winning author’s YA dark urban fantasy series.

Nancy A. Collins redefined vampire mythology with Vamps, a series featuring supernatural immortal teenage girls with all-too-human desires. Fashionably Late is part of the multi-award-winning author’s revised narrative of her groundbreaking genre saga.

Despite being a dhampire—half-human, half-vampire—of minimal status among Bathory Academy’s elite paranormal female student body, Cally Monture has found a place at her new school. Between her friendships among the outcasts and her magic-wielding abilities impressing the teaching staff, Cally’s popularity rivals that of Lilith Todd, Queen of the Vamps—Vampire American Princesses—who rules Bathory’s social scene.

With her star fading, Lilith is abandoned by her friends and even her boyfriend. Infuriated with her parents for treating her as nothing more than a means to link two powerful families, Lilith accepts an opportunity to preserve her eternal beauty as a fashion model. When her father warns her about bringing unwanted and dangerous attention to the vampire community, Lilith reminds him about his own betrayal—an infidelity that produced her half-breed half-sister.

Now that Cally has learned of her birthright as Lilith’s sibling, her identity must remain secret for her own protection. So must her relationship with Peter Van Helsing, the young man she loves who is heir to the legendary family of vampire hunters—and who has been keeping his own secrets from Cally . . .
