Blood Sisters

Teen vampires are New York City’s most dangerous predators in the first novel of this YA urban fantasy series from a Bram Stoker Award–winning author.

First in the Vamps series, Nancy A. Collins’s revised edition of Blood Sisters re-envisions vampire mythology through the eyes of a younger generation who carry on their family legacies—and inherit ancient blood vendettas—that conflict with their own desires and identities.

Lilith Todd comes from a world of elite privilege. The daughter of a billionaire, she is the descendant of one of the powerful Old Blood families who rule over vampire society, and is promised to the son of another aristocratic clan. When not attending Bathory Academy, where she learns how to master her shapeshifting abilities and pass for human, Lilith parties with her fellow Vamps—Vampire American Princesses—defying Old Blood rules and conformity.

Cally Monture is a dhampire—half-human, half-vampire. A New Blood Brooklynite with an unknown father and a barely-functioning mother, she has no hereditary fortune to pay her bills and fund her future. However, Cally’s mixed parentage did grace her with something more than bloodlust: the magical powers of a stormgatherer, which she unleashes against Lilith and her Vamps when they cross paths. In the aftermath, Lilith’s best friend lies dead, while both Old and New Blood vampires are hunted by the Van Helsings.

Peter Van Helsing doesn’t believe Cally is a threat, having fallen in love with her. And even as Cally dates a vampire’s sworn enemy, she becomes a target for Lilith’s vengeful bullying when she enrolls at Bathory. But things get even more dangerous when Lilith discovers she’s bound to Cally by more than the bad blood between them . . .
