A Call Of The Ocean

The salt air doesn't just fill your lungs, it claims them.

You think you know the tales of the mythical creatures of the deep? You don't. You only know the lies told to keep children away from the ocean’s depths. In one story, after an apocalypse residents of an exclusive resort discover the true price of making a survival pact with beings from an old Scottish legend. In another, a master forger who’s faked so much of her life in order to achieve her goals, discovers another person’s secret is far more valuable and impossible to believe than the ancient artifact she craves so much, buried deep in the ocean. Whether it’s the evocative story about the merfolk featured on the front cover or a WWII pilot’s haunting encounter with a monster from Japanese mythology, these tales reveal new depths to our ocean's hidden inhabitants that will make us confront our own humanity.

Edited by Lezli Robyn (affectionally known as a landlocked mermaid to her peers), within the pages of A Call of the Ocean you will rediscover the magic of a protagonist uncovering their true purpose or a hidden truth of an ocean that tries to consume them. Some will find the strength to fight their battles and break the surface again. Others will succumb to the depths …
