The Nun's Kiss

Gawain is 780 years old, exhausted, and drinks to forget. Once a knight of King Arthur’s court, he was cursed by Merlin to walk the earth until he uncovers betrayal and death wherever it hides. Success may finally grant him release. Failure condemns him to eternal life – and the torment of endless waking.

His latest summons leads him to Semringham Priory, where a young novice has been found dead. But Enid was no ordinary nun, and her death was anything but natural. As Gawain investigates, he must uncover the truth before his own identity is exposed – and before the curse tightens its grip once more.

Complicating matters is the first woman Gawain has dared to love in centuries. To solve the crime, he may have to betray her. To save her, he may have to abandon his quest – and the fragile hope of rest at last.

A dark, atmospheric mystery blending Arthurian legend with historical crime, this novel explores immortality, guilt, and the cost of love when time itself becomes a prison.
