Courageous

Stepping Out in Courage and in Faith

If you had the opportunity to exchange your pain for a new life would you do it—even if it meant shedding everything around you?

Author Dawn Burnett did just that. Courageous: Burnt Out, Not Broken—A Journey of Faith, Healing, and Renewal is a powerful, deeply personal story of resilience, reinvention, and self-discovery. After years of pushing through burnout, trauma, and life’s myriad unexpected challenges, she made the bold decision to let go of everything familiar—her career, her home, her possessions—and step into a nomadic journey exploring continents and crossing oceans in search of purpose, peace, and truth.

Through raw storytelling and reflective insight, this book explores themes of childhood conditioning, relationships, loss, faith, and the courage it takes to rebuild from the ground up. It is a testament to the strength found in surrender, the healing power of forgiveness, and the freedom that comes from releasing what no longer serves you.

More than a memoir, it is an invitation—to choose courage over fear, to embrace change, and to trust that even in life’s most uncertain moments, you are not broken . . . you are becoming.
