Bad Decisions

Anyone can make bad decisions—but it takes a pro to maximize them. Nat Harris has a recent track record of making poor decisions. Once an up-and-coming Army intelligence officer, she has made bad decisions that have led to her disgrace, discharge, and a downward spiral in the aftermath. Now, at the end of her rope, she is bound for Santa Barbara, California, pursuing a potential job offered by her long-time friend. With her recent past shadowing her, she discovers her bad streak hasn't run out while stopping for gas and a restroom break in the middle of the Arizona desert.

From a chance encounter into the depths of an escalating conspiracy, Nat seems hellbent on following a path from bad to worse. But can someone with her checkered past make the right decisions at the right time? Which will prove deadlier, those pursuing her, those she gathers in desperation, or the demons lurking inside her? Follow Nat's journey in a gritty military action-suspense thriller that delves into the bonds forged by war, the burdens they all brought home, and perhaps find a path to a lasting peace.
