Reflections

The Journey of Reflection

The theories I present here were born from my lived experiences and years of reflection. This book is meant to show what that journey can look like — and to encourage you to begin your own.

A life is not measured only by the years we live but by the wisdom we carry forward from our experiences. Wisdom is not handed to us whole. It is earned — through joy and loss, through failure and triumph, through reflection on what each moment has meant.

My journey has taken me from a restless boy in the pews of St. Anne's, to a young man clinging to life on the granite walls of the Sierra Nevada, to a husband, father, and survivor of illness and addiction. Along the way, I have learned that reflection — not just living but examining — is the key to finding meaning.

This book is not only a collection of memories. It is a story of how experiences, beliefs, and lifestyles interweave into a life of growth and transformation. It is about what it means to suffer, to survive, and ultimately, to reflect.
