The Storyteller Thief

Witches are everywhere. And they're not what you think.

An unputdownable YA fantasy with a stunning, richly-imagined world, razor sharp writing, epic magic, and smouldering romance.

Welcome to the Merod, where you'll find witches, fae, warring kings, star-crossed romance… and dragon fire.

Aneira, 18-year-old travelling storyteller and thief, has been searching for her missing older sister Casia for months. Capable and cunning, Casia’s all the family Aneira has.

And when she discovers Casia’s old pendant in the woods on the body of a murdered witch, Aneira is blackmailed into spying on the royals at nearby Dinas Brân Castle…where she soon realises that the answer to what really happened to Casia may lie within the castle’s walls. Finding that answer becomes even more urgent when Aneira realises that a dragon has followed her from the woods, and it seems drawn to the pendant she found there.

As Aneira grows closer to the steely-eyed castle guardsman Masarn, she learns he’s been sent to the castle on a covert mission of his own. Now Aneira faces an impossible task: she must choose between her sister and the man who’s stolen her heart. And to find a solution, she must use all her underhanded skills to sneak deep into enemy territory – and steal the most important bounty of her life…

Perfect for fans of Holly Black's The Cruel Prince, Stephanie Garber's Once Upon a Broken Heart, Lauren Roberts' Powerless, and The Rose Bargain by Sasha Peyton Smith – once The Storyteller Thief has cast its spell on you, you won't be able to put it down…
