A Simple Act of Kindness

One Sunday morning, a church bell chimes. People bustle along wet streets, caught up in their own lives. A man watches from a bus, and on the busy footpath outside the fogged windows a small act of kindness will be seen only by him.

With seven CBCA Picture Book of the Year awards to his name as well as a Carnegie Medal for Illustration, much loved author-illustrator Bob Graham celebrates the simple joy of a kind act and the moments that spark imagination.

A Simple Act of Kindness encourages readers - young and old - to pause, look around at the world and delight in the tender moments unfolding in our midst, from the creator of Rose Meets Mr Wintergarten, Greetings from Sandy Beach and How to Heal a Broken Wing.

Perfect for:
- Reading aloud at home or in the classroom
- Families and educators at all levels to discuss what really matters in life
- Picture book enthusiasts and creators - a masterclass in how to craft a story from everyday happenings.
