Night Time, My Time

Night Time, My Time is the debut studio album by American singer and songwriter Sky Ferreira, released by Capitol Records originally released in 2013 - This 180g vinyl re-issue faithfully replicates the original pressing in gatefold sleeve The album combines elements of synth-pop, alternative rock, dream pop and 1990s-influenced grunge, while drawing on the sounds of 1980s pop and new wave. Tracks such as "Boys", "Ain't Your Right", "I Blame Myself" and "You're Not the One" balance catchy pop structures with distorted guitars, synthesizers and dense production. The twelve-track album closes with the atmospheric title track, "Night Time, My Time", which contrasts industrial percussion and strings with Ferreira's subdued vocal performance.
