Vigilant is the solo project of Dmitry Polivenko, a musician and sound artist from Voronezh, Russia. Founded in 2020, the project crafts immersive sonic landscapes through the transformation of cassette loops, field recordings, and guitar textures, skillfully blending analog warmth with contemporary digital processing.Drawing from experimental, ambient, and industrial influences, Vigilant creates evocative compositions that balance raw sonic exploration with a strong sense of atmosphere. The project's distinctive approach has earned recognition within the underground experimental music scene, leading to releases on acclaimed labels including Kultzmrok, EMIVA Records, Nycklar, SUBSIST, and Broken Tape Records.
