untitled (halo)

Los Angeles quartet untitled (halo) returns with its self-titled debut album, arriving October 30 via Dirty Hit. Rooted in the band's signature blend of trip-hop, shoegaze, and art rock, the album introduces the concept of "California Melancholia"—a feeling that captures the emotional contradictions of growing up in Southern California, where idyllic landscapes coexist with longing, disillusionment, and the quiet search for connection.

Built from the creative chemistry of Ariana Mamnoon, Jack Dione, Jay Are, and Nicholas Noneman, the project merges inspiration from music, film, literature, and visual art into a singular, immersive world. Already championed by Pitchfork, Pigeons & Planes, KCRW, and Perfectly Imperfect, with features in The FADER, Document Journal, Complex, Flaunt Magazine, Teen Vogue, Silknode, and more, untitled (halo) cements the band as one of alternative music's most compelling new voices.
