For close to a decade, B'licious has been best known as the voice of The Heliocentrics, the London psych jazz and funk collective whose collaborators include Madlib, Mulatu Astatke, DJ Shadow, Gaslamp Killer, and Lloyd Miller, with stages taking her to Glastonbury, Roskilde. And Worldwide festivals alongside artists including Marshall Allen and Bilal. Her appearance on Strut Records' 'Nuclear War', a tribute to Sun Ra also featuring Marshall Allen, Knoel Scott, and Bilal, is the latest marker of a body of work built over years on some of the most respected stages in UK jazz and soul. Following her 2022 solo EP 'Surrender', 'Apple' is the lead single from her debut full-length album 'Serpent Dreams'. 'Apple' was co-produced by Dan Smith of The Noisettes and engineered by Sie Medway-Smith, whose credits include Björk, Depeche Mode, Gang of Four, and Massive Attack.
