Other: Deluxe Edition

Other (2017), Alison Moyet's ninth studio album, is reissued on Deluxe Edition Double CD, featuring the original album and The Other Live Collection. This is intelligent, adventurous electronic pop that is defined by Guy Sigsworth's trademark soundscapes. Although Moyet reflects on ageing, the music bursts with clarity, vitality and freshness, whether in the zingy ‘Lover Go’, the chic, laid-back, soundtrack-style ‘The English U’, ‘Beautiful Gun’ a nod to her rock and roll roots, the icy Germanic arpeggios of ‘Reassuring Pinches’, or the ambient, spoken-word poem ‘April 10th’.
