Breathing Room

Breathing Room marks an historic full-circle moment for Cris Williamson: her 35th album, and the first time in fifty years - not since she went into the studio and laid down the initial solo tracks for The Changer and the Changed - that she has played and sung everything herself, from vocals and piano to acoustic guitar and keyboard strings. Arriving this fall, just months before her 80th birthday, this Folk/Americana collection pairs eleven new originals with a tender reading of the traditional ballad "The Water Is Wide (O, Waly, Waly)."
